Students taking weekly riding lessons may have the opportunity to compete in local horse shows. Heritage Livestock shows in the Missouri Hunter Jumper Association (MOHJO), and select other shows in the Kansas City and Saint Louis areas. These shows consist of hunters, jumpers, and equitation classes. We also have riders who compete in mounted games through the United States Mounted Games Association (USMGA).
Heritage Livestock will does not have any home shows scheduled for the 2019 show season. We will be using this year to travel to more away shows and get more miles under our rider's belts. Check out our Calendar under the Activities Tab on our website for a schedule.
After Meghan made the USPC International Exchange team in 2015, she joined the United States Mounted Games Association (USMGA) and has made two international teams. One team represented the United States in England and the other travelled to New Zealand. Additionally, the United States hosted the Nations Cup for the International Mounted Games Association in 2017 and Meghan rode on that team as well.
In addition to the international opportunities that Meghan has had, Heritage Livestock sends members and teams to various USMGA competitions throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. These competitions do well to compliment the all-around nature of our riding program, form new friendships, and have the opportunity to travel and compete internationally as Meghan has done.
